"Who Bought Scott?" is an independent research analysis tracking the money behind Scott Wiener's 2026 congressional run. The site compiles public campaign-finance filings, news reporting, and primary-source documents into a single, readable dossier so voters can see exactly which donors, PACs, and dark-money groups are bankrolling the campaign.
This project is built for San Franciscans who want to follow the money without wading through thousands of pages of FEC filings. Every donor card links back to its original source, so readers can verify each claim themselves. Each donor-specific card provides context on that donor's history in business and politics, how they donated, and how much.
The site is built and maintained by a small independent team of researchers with no affiliation to any campaign, party, or PAC. We do not accept advertising or outside funding. All figures are drawn primarily from public campaign-finance filings, with additional sources cited inline.
